Fashion Night Out: A Global Celebration of Style

fashion's night out, LA

It’s almost here! The biggest fashion party in history is less than four days away, and Los Angeles is getting ready to play a major part in the worldwide event.

On September 10, Fashion’s Night Out will be celebrated in cities around the globe with special events, promotions and prizes from some of our greatest houses of Haute.

Here in LA, Rodeo Drive  will have an amazing replica of the original 1893 Ferris Wheel, giving rides to all shoppers at any of the 67 participating merchants including Chanel, Gucci, Giorgio Armani, Prada, Ferragamo and Valentino.

At Giorgio Armani, actor Samuel L. Jackson is hosting a display of his favorite red carpet outfits. Chanel is giving free manicures with their new nail polishes. Lacoste is having a Wii tennis tournament. DJs will be spinning at Emporio Armani and Roberto Cavalli and Geary’s will host a “Gentleman’s Lounge” serving Scotch, beer and hors d’oeuvres.

But they aren’t the only street celebrating Fashion Night Out. Other Fashion hubs participating include Melrose Avenue (Alexander McQueen, Fred Segal) South Robertson Boulevard, West Third Street (Magnolia Bakery), Abbot Kinney, Westfield Century City, Westfield Topanga in Woodland Hills, The Grove, and Neiman Marcus.

The Beverly Center will have a VIP red carpet event, free parking and shuttle buses to all other shopping event locales. Justin Timberlake, Will I. Am, and Kelly Clarkson are among the many celebs participating.

And SBE’s Industry nightclub and XIV restaurant will both host afterparties!

Participating retailers will also be selling an exclusive cool FNO LA T shirt, with proceeds benefiting tuition grants to FIDM students!

The Beverly Center is located at 8500 Beverly Boulevard
