IWC Schaffhausen Hits the Silver Screen

News | August 25, 2010

IWC Schaffhausen has landed a starring role in the upcoming Oliver Stone blockbuster “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” starring Micheal Douglas and Shia LaBeouf. Both actors will wear the classic timepieces. The brand’s cameo in the film speaks to its reputation among business heavy-hitters.

In the film, the infamous Jacob Moore played by LaBeouf is styled in the IWC Portuguese Perpetual Calendar timepiece. His counterpart, Gordon Gekko, played by Douglas, sports the IWC Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Edition Kurt Klaus in rose gold.

For more than a century, IWC Schaffhausen has raised the bar in the technological development of luxury timepieces. Founded in 1868, the International Watch Co. has established a global presence rooted in incomparable refinery and tradition. With the timely release of “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps,” the sophistication of these iconic timepieces can be admired on a screen near you.
