Countdown to the 2010 Emmys: It All Starts With the Parties.

In Hollywood, it’s not whether you win or lose, it’s how you party after. OK, that’s not true. It IS about whether you win or lose — but remember it’s an honor just to be nominated.

On Sunday, Aug. 29, after myriad Hollywood peeps celebrate the best in television (come on Tina Fey, Juliana Marguiles and “Mad Men’s” creator Matt Weiner!) Entertainment Tonight will throw the go-to bash of the night at Vibiana. A former cathedral, the building was originally erected in 1876 and still maintains many of the original features. (FYI, this is ET’s 14th turn at throwing the soiree.)

DJ darling Samantha Ronson — former amore/pal/what have you — of now former party girl Lindsay Lohan will put the needle on the record (or something akin to that). Then, an as yet to be announced Grammy winning artist will be belting it out for the crowd that will certainly be filled with a combo platter of GLEEful faces and gleaming Emmy statuettes for the losers to impale themselves on.

Guests will enjoy a specially created menu from celebrity chef Susan Feniger’s Los Angeles restaurant Border Grill, and Bure Family Wines will provide their limited selection Majesty Cabernet Sauvignon and Nuit Blanche, of which there are only 125 cases of each produced every year. Additionally, New York City’s famed Magnolia Bakery, which recently opened in Los Angeles, will be providing an exclusive dessert bar filled with delectable treats including mini red velvet cheesecakes, banana pudding, lemon bars, cranberry chocolate chunk cookies, classic mini cupcakes, mini lemon cupcakes and assorted brownies/bars, just the sort of sugary delicacies celebs need to indulge in after all that pre-award show stress they’ve put themselves through. Of course, the one and only Grey Goose vodka will have a slew of its mixologists on hand at Grey Goose’s vodka bars mixing a plethora of GG’s signature cocktails.

“Each year we look forward to hosting the hottest party in town for TV’s biggest night!” says Linda Bell Blue, executive producer of Entertainment Tonight and The Insider. “This year is no exception with the food, desserts, Napa wines, a Grammy-winning performer!”

FYI: If you want to know who the Grammy-winning performer is going to be — Beyonce? Christina Aguilera? Lady Gaga, perhaps? — tune in to Entertainment Tonight this evening as all will be revealed.
