Cook With World Expert Chefs at the New York Culinary Experience

Preparing an exquisite meal may seem more like a chore than a glamorous practice, but at the third annual New York Culinary Experience you can feel like a top chef as you learn to prepare impressive meals with the best in the culinary business. The exclusive two-day culinary camp, set for Oct. 2-3, offers participants the opportunity to cook hands-on and side-by-side with some of the world’s most distinguished chefs including David Bouley, Morimoto, Alain Ducasse, George Mendes, Jacques Torres, Anita Lo, and Laurent Tourondel, just to name a few. This epicurean event will be hosted by New York magazine’s culinary editor Gillian Duffy and The French Culinary Institute’s CEO and founder, Dorothy Cann Hamilton. In addition to gaining gastronomic skills, attendees will also be contributing to The Future Chefs Scholarship Program, which makes it possible for aspiring chefs the attend The French Culinary Institute.

The New York City Culinary Experience provides participants with two classes per day, breakfast, educational lunch sessions, and a cocktail/wine reception to close each of the days. Partakers can look forward to gourmet training by creating antipasti with Cesare Casella, mastering Portuguese and Spanish shellfish preparations with George Mendes, baking Mediterranean breads with Mark Fiorentino, learning the artistry of Pichet Ong’s whimsical desserts, exploring the world of High Tech Cocktails with Nils Noren and Dave Arnold, and so much more.
