What Made Him Haute: As a film and TV producer, the former advertising executive is behind some of the biggest blockbusters of the past three decades, including Top Gun, Bad Boys, The Rock, Armageddon, the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, and hit television shows such as CSI.

What Makes Him Haute Now: Jerry Bruckheimer’s latest project, Disney’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, will open this Wednesday. The film stars Nicolas Cage as the sorcerer and Jay Baruchel as his apprentice. A great action flick for the kids, this film takes place in modern-day New York City and follows the journey of the complicated journey of a protégé trying to save the city and (as most stories go) land the girl of his dreams.
