Todd English Kicks Off One Cheesy Challenge

America has its great cheese makers, but there is only one Todd English. Da Campo Osteria at the il Lugano Suite Hotel is calling South Florida foodies, aspiring chefs and the epicurean curious to challenge the famed original tableside mozzarella recipe of celebrity chef and restaurateur, Todd English, and submit their own personal mozzarella recipe. Participants are encouraged to let their imagination run wild and create unique pairings with everything from meats to fruits and beyond.

Self-proclaimed mozzarella connoisseurs can register for the “What’s Your Mozz?” challenge by e-mailing their creations to [email protected] and becoming a fan of da Campo Osteria on Facebook. The top ten mozzarella recipes will be selected by da Campo Osteria Executive Chef Joshua Hedquist and invited to participate at an intimate food fair at il Lugano. Their “mozz” creations will be judged by a VIP panel who will carefully select three finalists to be judged by English himself. The winning dish will be featured on the da Campo Osteria menu for one month. In addition, the winner of the challenge will be awarded a complimentary membership to English’s recently launched VIP website, www.toddenglishvip.com and dinner for two at the restaurant.
