Missoni Brings Children’s Line In-House

News | June 2, 2010

Missoni, who, until last April 2009 licensed its children’s wear collection to French manufacturer Children Worldwide Fashion, is bringing the line in-house.

Good news for mom’s that spend their morning’s dressing their offspring in the hautest kid’s fashions. The bad news? They will have to wait until fall 2011 to scoop up any of these trendy goods. The range of 21 pieces is aimed at girl’s ages 2 through 10, and includes jumpers, dresses, leggings, pulls, and boleros. Missoni has long been known for their creative zigzag patterns and boho-esque styles for the adult set; creative director Angela Missoni didn’t hold back on this ethos when designing the children’s line. In addition to the clothing there will also be accessories, including 11 hat-and-scarf sets. Prices range from $281.50 to $465 at current exchange from the euro. Sweaters will retail from anywhere between $330 and $404. It may sound like a hefty price tag for outfitting your tiny tot, but we think these chic duds are well worth it. Plus, what’s cuter than matching mother-daughter Missoni scarves?
