Idol Judge Kara DioGuardi Dazzles in Lugano Diamonds

Last Wednesday legions of music fans tuned in to FOX for the Grand Finale broadcast of American Idol. For many it was a farewell to longtime judge Simon Cowell. To others it was a chance to see past Idol winners—like the stunning Carrie Underwood—perform onstage. And to Kara DioGuardi it was a chance to display dazzling jewels from Lugano Diamonds.

Lugano Diamonds is a Newport Beach, California-based jeweler that was established over 36 years ago. In that time they have come to be known for their attentive and personalized service, as well as their immense knowledge of gems. Moti Ferder, president of Lugano Diamonds says, “We are honored that Kara chose to wear our pieces during the season finale and looked absolutely magnificent in her Lugano Diamonds’ jewelry and Oday Shakar couture.”

For the occasion DioGuardi chose over 40 carats of diamonds, including a pair of drop diamond earrings with 3.62-carat rose cut diamond center stones and 1.15-carat rose cut diamond stone sides, surrounded by pave diamonds and set in 18 karat gold. But that’s not all. She also chose Lugano’s custom-designed rose-cut diamond bracelet featuring over 34 carats of diamonds set in 18-karat white gold.

The entire live broadcast was a bold display of opulence, but DioGuardi’s stunning jewels definitely stole the show.
