Though the last few years have been dominated by vampires swooning around our pop culture, on Thursday night, May 13, witchcraft took back some control.
“It’s Witchcraft,” at 1Oak in NYC was the place to be for celeb sightings in the city on Thursday night. Lindsay Lohan, supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio, 90210 star Jessica Lowndes, Dancing With The Stars’ Karina Smirnoff, and many other famous faces hit the haute nightclub venue to preview the Wildfox Couture Fall 2010 collection.
Childhood friends Emily Faulstich and Kimberley Gordon teamed up with musician Jimmy Sommers to bring this label, collection, and event to life. The creators/designers of Wildfox Couture played up the witchcraft theme of the celebration with highlights like a Zoltar machine, magicians, and added in a kitchy kissing wall and candy stations for good measure.
The brand was born in L.A. in 2006 and its vintage-inspired philosophy, based on love, dreams, sleepovers, fun, and friendship has attracted the likes of Fergie, Halle Berry, Vanessa Hudgens, Megan Fox, and Ashley Tisdale.
