What’s Been Going On at Apogee South Beach?

Kevin Tomlinson over at the South Beach Condo Blog shared with us some news on Saturday about the happenings he’s been seeing at Apogee South Beach in the chic South of Fifth neighborhood.

Naturally, the celebrity news comes first, and Tomlinson tells us that A-list actor Michael Caine has put his corner unit on the market for $6,995,000. While we don’t get a sneak peek inside the four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath luxury South Beach condo, Tomlinson is able to share a standard floor plan of what a Caine condo on the “01 line” might be similar to.

Next up on the celeb listings at Apogee South Beach is Andrew Lessman. Perhaps the vitamin guru who rules the HSN airwaves thought that two units in South Beach may be a bit too much, so he sold one of them for $4.75 million. So what does a multimillion-dollar asking price get you in the Miami Beach real estate market these days? In the Apogee, a decorator-ready unit that was never lived in.

That’s all the celeb news going on at the Miami condo tower, but that’s not all the coverage we have to offer of the South Pointe Drive address. Considering that at the end of his report, he wraps with a rare $9 million, southwest-facing corner unit that measures in at 4,154 square feet, 2,400 square feet of exterior terrace space, and summer kitchen, clearly the Apogee is one of the “it” places to be calling home this summer. The luxe building closed three contracts in April, with two additional contracts set up at the end of the month.
