Mario Buatta Speaks at Doubles

Internationally renowned designer, Mario Buatta is known for his astounding ability to combine contemporary and antique design but more importantly for his captivating personality. Buatta welcomed guests to Club Doubles for “If You Can’t Hide It, Decorate It,” an informative presentation featuring a cocktail reception and intimate performance by society pianist Peter Mintun.

Those in attendance included Aileen Mehle, Jamie Figg, Pamela Fiori, Christine Schott, Pat Patterson, Stephanie Krieger, Brian Stewart, Betsy Bartlett, Temo Callahan, among many others.

Club Doubles plans to provide guests with numerous lectures throughout the year. “Next on the Doubles lecture calendar-Tuesday, June 8th- is ‘What’s Really Happening in Real Estate.’ Tips, trends, and triumphs from a panel of experts including Serena Boardman, Harold Grant, Kirk Henckels, Adam Modlin, and Stan Ponte,” explains Doubles director, Wendy Carduner.
