The Drawing Center with co-chairs Jane Dresner Sadaka, Pat Steir, and Isabel Stainow Wilcox hosted the 2010 Benefit Gala at the Tribeca Rooftop on April 21. The event commemorated the opening of the exhibition, Leon Golub: Live & Die Like A Lion? Nancy Spero, artist and wife of Leon Golub, was also recognized for her talents and contributions to the field of drawing.
After an exclusive glimpse into the exhibition, guests headed to the Tribeca Rooftop where they indulged in cocktails and enjoyed a spectacular dinner. As always the Gala attracted hundreds of supporters and prestigious names within the art community, whose time and talents have led to inspiring exhibitions. Proceeds from the evening also went towards supporting the Center’s Viewing Program.
