SFCASA Board of Directors Luncheon

On April 8, 2010 The San Francisco Court Appointed Special Advocate Program hosted their Annual Board of Director’s Luncheon with Dr. Milton A. Gordon as the featured speaker. Dr. Gordon, President of California State University, Fullerton, was honored with the “Award for Outstanding Service to Children and the Community,” for his diligence and determination in supporting the Guardian Scholars program. The comprehensive program offers aid to former foster children striving to continue their education in college.

“Dr. Gordon has successfully fostered the collaboration necessary to make college a reality for emancipated foster youth,” explains Sally Coates, SFCASA’s Executive Director.

Guests enjoyed an elegant evening at the Four Seasons Hotel celebrating the excellence of CASA and the unwavering support of individuals such as Dr. Gordon that makes their initiative of supporting foster children possible.
