New Museum Spring Gala and After Party
On April 22, The New Museum introduced a Brazilian-inspired gala at 7 World Trade, where the decor consisted of yellow umbrella cocktail tables, bright florescent lighting, and a bamboo installation rested atop the main bar.
The colorful and chic decorations engulfed the room as guests danced to the Brazilian influenced sounds of Forro in the Dark, Maluca, and Vanessa de Mata.
Lisa Phillips, Saul Dennison, Shelley Fox Aarons, Mitzi Eisenberg, and Charlotte Ford hosted the exciting event in honor of Mary Heilmann and Maja Hoffman. Interview Magazine, Melissa Shoes, and Prairie Vodka sponsored the event. Guests included Alice Braga, Francisco Costa, Lisa Philips, Heide Lindgren, Fernanda Mota, Julie Henderson, Marilyn Minter, and Anh Duong.
