New MatrixFillmore Unveiled

The MatrixFillmore opened their doors to friends, family, and investors on April 15 for a party in honor of the venue’s fresh design, long awaited cocktail list, and early evening hours.

Guests were introduced to General Manager and award-winning cocktail craftsman, Ken Luciano’s exclusive cocktail list as they passed around soothing shot-sized samples of choices like “Chasing Aces” and “Cucumber Gimlet.”

The decor boasted a revamped version of the original Matrix thanks to design company, Shopworks Design who teamed with PlumpJack to develop the vision of all those involved.

“The new Matrix is a more modern, adult version of the old Matrix,” said Dan Worden, of Shopworks Design. Those in attendance immediately felt the difference, “It’s like we grew up, and so did the Matrix!”

Guests in attendance included PlumpJack President, Hilary Newsom Callan and her husband Geoff Callan; PlumpJack Executive Vice President, Jeremy Scherer and his wife Sabrina; Dan Worden, Shopworks Design Co.; Eoin Harrington, Trevor Traina, Hooman, Carter and Eric Graber, Cameron Phleger, Joe Lucier, Wheeler Simmons Griffith, Dave Murray, Shaila Freyer, and Maryam Bradley.
