New Editions of Haute Living New York and Haute Living Miami

The latest editions of Haute Living Miami and Haute Living New York are now available online and are certainly worthy of a gander. The New York edition features none other than the legendary Clive Davis on the cover, so we focused the entire issue around New York’s thriving music industry.

Editor Christina Bohnstengel’s Power Player article highlights our choices for the top “Music Industry Moguls”: Clive Davis, Quincy Jones, Diddy, Jay-Z, L.A. Reid, and Swizz Beatz. Her article includes what may be my personal favorite passage in Haute Living history:

[Swizz Beatz’s] uncles founded the Ruff Ryders music label back in 1988; years later, when the young MC was a mere 16 years old, they asked him to lend his talents to help produce rap star DMX’s single “Stop, Drop,” a track that went on to become the first hit for the label.  Mean nothing to you? Then let’s move on to the next one.

Pure brilliance, given Haute Living’s known adoration of Jay-Z and Swizz’s “On to the Next One” track. So it’s not hard to see why we chose to profile Swizz Beatz in the edition as well.

The Miami issue is our second-annual Haute 100 edition, highlighting the 100 most influential people in the world’s most magical city. I introduced you to the Haute 100 newcomers yesterday, but let me know direct your attention to some of the other features in the issue: One on One profile of Audemars Piguet CEO Francois Henry-Bennahmias, and a fashion shoot that screams Miami.

Of course, the issues are also chock full of coverage of luxury timepieces, cigars, private aviation, travel destinations, and more, so spend some time perusing all of the editorial content and enjoy. As always, we welcome your feedback, either in the comments below or via email to editor@hauteliving.com.
