Maria Snyder Presents Eco Boys and Girls

On April 24, Maria Snyder hosted the Eco Boys and Girls launch celebration at the Liberty Science Center. Visionary top model, fashion designer, eco-pioneer, and artist, Maria Snyder, presented her new organization through an eco-friendly art installation and animated educational film.

Guests were taken across the Hudson River by ferry, where Liberty Science Center president and CEO, Dr. Emlyn Koster, greeted them as they entered the event. Those in attendance included Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Beverly Bond, William Calvert & Halla Elias, Helena Christensen, Spencer & Phoenix List, Tatiana & Campion Platt, Suze Yalof Schwartz, Yvonne Force Villareal, Matt Walton, Alek Wek and Bonnie Young. Several of the guests were accompanied by their children including Helena Christensen and son Mingus as well as Kelly Killoren Bensimon and daughter Sea.

Along with the art installation and animated educational film, parents and children were introduced to five earth friendly characters: Ernie Earth, Lulu Love, Patsy Peace, Ray Recycle, and Sammy Sun. The characters thrilled children and taught messages promoting love, peace, and environmental awareness.
