It Doesn’t Get Much Hauter Than Polo on Miami Beach

Miami is giving Prince William a royal run for his money when it comes to the sport he’s known for. The Miami Beach Polo World Cup is currently underway, running from April 22 to April 25, and the traditional “sport of kings” has been given a Miami makeover. Everyone knows the allure of Miami lies in its beautiful beaches, and that’s where these men and women’s polo matches are taking place. The notorious South Beach shores are playing host to an international lineup, with talented and top polo teams flocking to the Magic City from exotic locales like Argentina, Brazil, and Germany, all in the name of scoring the coveted La Martina Trophy. First held in 2005, this polo tournament has the honor of being dubbed “the worlds largest and most prestigious Polo Tournament on the Beach.” As always with events in Miami, the excuse to throw a party is never far away, and the Polo World Cup is cause for several social events and news conferences.

And we got word that everyone’s favorite Miami transplants, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, were on hand to witness some beachfront polo action.
