Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida Hosts Annual Event

News | April 12, 2010

On March 23, Girl Scouts Council of Tropical Florida welcomed guests to their 7th annual “Girl’s Night Out” at Fisher Island. The charitable cocktail party benefited the Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida, Inc. and began with a silent auction held at the lavish and luxurious Vanderbilt Mansion. Following cocktails and the auction, guests joined sponsors Gala Cohen, June Kimmel, Sharon King, Harriet Lassin, and Barbara Zweig for a deliciously prepared private dinner.

The event was a success as guests gathered to support a truly great cause and enjoy an elegant evening. “Once again an amazing group of women in our community supported our Girls’ Night Out fundraiser,” explained Irela Bague, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida. “Women community leaders, friends of Girl Scouting and new supporters gathered to celebrate the girls in our community and help sustain the Girl Scout program,” she added.
