FIT Hosts Harry Slatkin

Fashion Institute of Technology welcomed Harry Slatkin, founder of Slatkin & Co, for a presentation in which he discussed his inspirations as well as revealed valuable information on how to succeed in the industry. Long-time friend, Robin Sackin, who is the Dean of FIT’s Baker School of Business and Technology, invited Mr. Slatkin.

Students spent several weeks awaiting the arrival of the scent master, as they hoped to absorb the vast amount of knowledge Harry Slatkin revealed to them. Limited Brand recently purchased Slatkin & Co. but Slatkin remains president and oversees product development of Bath & Body Works.

The presentation thrilled audience members as they listened to Harry Slatkin discuss his entrance into the fragrance world in 1992 and how he has remained relevant and renowned throughout the years. Students were also given the opportunity to ask questions after his speech.
