Easter weekend my friend Adam Weis hosted a BBQ at his neighbor’s new four-story townhouse at the Continuum II North Tower at the edge of South Beach overlooking South Pointe. Kishan Khanna, our co-host, is a newcomer to our sunny shores originally from the Himalayas and a polo player to boot! Quite exotic origin if you ask me, and first Himalayan I have met in South Beach.
The townhome had a great terrace with a BBQ which we put to good use. The intimate group of guests was an uppercrust mix of folks from around the world ranging from Colombia to NYC to Paris, Germany and Russia among other destinations. The ambiance was reminiscent of a St. Tropez-style afternoon with the rose wine flowing along with beer for the American boys. We enjoyed a nice mix of grilled vegetables and steak.
Later I got a tour of Adam’s spectacular condo in the Continuum I South Tower (www.continuumsouthtower.com). The views are breathtaking from sunrise to sunset! It is the ultimate bachelor pad in the sky with gorgeous white leather furniture and wraparound terraces. Ahhh, the good life in Miami! Some boys have it all.
