21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards

On April 17, the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles welcomed guests to the GLAAD awards. The awards presentation saw Wanda Sykes, “Glee,” “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” and Tom Ford all receive awards for their outstanding talents.

Constance McMillen, the young high school student from Mississippi enthralled in controversy received a standing ovation from the audience as she presented Wanda Sykes with her honorary award and Adam Lambert elated the audience with two exciting performances. As always the GLAAD awards looks to recognize those in the industry who strive to portray the gay and lesbian community in the media through a fair and balanced lens.
