2010 Women Of Discovery Awards

WINGS WorldQuest hosted its 8th annual Women of Discovery Awards at the Tribeca Rooftop on April 15, 2010. The awards recognize the success of extraordinary women who strive to expand our knowledge on complex issues we face in today’s society. Actress, Uma Thurman hosted the award gala as five special women were awarded with these prestigious honors including Kate Harris, Carol Beckwith, Angela Fisher, Alexandra Morton, and Susan Dudley.

“The Women of Discovery are paving the way to a greater understanding of our world while making it more humane for all of us,” says Milbry Polk, WINGS Executive Director and Co-Founder.

Those in attendance began the night with cocktails before heading over to watch the awards and indulge in their savory meals. Afterward, guests joined the honorees for coffee and discussion, as well as some live music.
