$15,000 Bottle of Cognac

News | April 10, 2010

This month, Rémy Martin plans to release its very expensive and exclusive single cask of Louis XIII. Arriving in a specially designed black crystal decanter, this top offering is priced at $15,000.

Described as “vibrant” with waves of prunes, nuts, beeswax, mint, mushrooms and pepper by a lucky New York Times reporter who tested it, this exclusive cognac’s design was derived from a flask found on an ancient battlefield. Compared to the top offering, the regular Louis XIII is priced at $1,700.
