Ladies and gentlemen, can I please have your attention? I’ve just been handed an urgent and horrifying news story. I need all of you, to stop what you’re doing and listen. No, it’s not a cannonball…It’s a new pad. Maybe. Rumor on the street is the Anchorman and family may be the new owners of apartment 5D at 345 West 13 St in New York.
Located “on the border of the West Village and the Meatpacking District,” the loft boasts two large bedrooms, an airy open space that could serve as a third bedroom, high ceilings, hardwood maple floors, and a renovated kitchen and bathrooms. While the loft was never officially listed and the deal doesn’t close until May 15, it sold for $4.4 million in 2006 so it’ll probably be somewhere in that ballpark, reports Curbed.
