New York’s Newest Haute Spot

New York gets another haute spot as Gansevoort Hotel Group announces the opening of their newest project, the Gansevoort Park, which is the group’s fourth project this summer.

The Gansevoort Hotel provides guests with a wide array of excellent amenities, and they are world renowned for their indoor pool designs. Thanks to architect Stephen B. Jacobs and interior designer Andi Pepper, the design offers a hint of smooth downtown mixed with the classiness of uptown.  The lounge’s décor displays a playful use of shapes as well as colors, blending dark toned wood flooring and chocolate leather seating with sky blue block design walls accented with various bright colors.

The group chose a thundering 19-story building located on Park Avenue between Madison Square and Gramercy Park to house each of their 249 rooms.  Along with spacious and stylish rooms, the hotel offers a heated indoor-outdoor pool, six distinctive event spaces, unobstructed views of the Empire State Building, exhale spa, fitness room, and a ballroom.

With access to essentially anything guests could ever need or want, this hotel is the perfect place for our readers to come visit.

According to Michael Achenbaum, the properties developer, the overall aim of the project was to provide a stay like no other by offering the quality that New York’s haute are accustomed to, “We are creating a sophisticated and fun-filled environment with first-rate service, all under one roof.”
