In celebration of International Women's Day, fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg has assembled a compilation called Proud to Be Woman which benefits women's empowerment group Vital Voices.
In celebration of International Women’s Day on Monday, March 8, Diane von Furstenberg has released Proud to be Woman, a compilation CD to benefit Vital Voices, the preeminent non-governmental organization that identifies, trains, and empowers emerging women leaders and social entrepreneurs around the globe.
Featuring 12 tracks from female artists like Joss Stone, Mary J. Blige, Estelle, Bebel Gilberto, Christina Aguilera, Angelique Kidjo, Mozella and Annie Lenox, the CD will celebrate the social economic and political achievements of women.
