Vice President Biden and Mrs. Biden Celebrate a Late Valentine’s Day
The River Café in Brooklyn had some late but famous Valentine’s Day guests over the weekend.
The Second Couple, Joe and Jill Biden, visited the Second Lady’s favorite restaurant overlooking the East River for a belated February 14 meal, according to the New York Daily News.
Arriving at 1 p.m. and seated at the corner table in the dining room, the duo noshed on a warm goat cheese and potato terrine appetizer.
For the entrée, the Vice President ordered a 14-ounce sirloin steak cooked medium well, and Mrs. Biden enjoyed the bass with grilled artichoke puree and poached artichoke hearts. Vice President Biden looked dashing for his wife sporting a striped blue button-down shirt and navy slacks.
Meanwhile, Secret Service agents chowed on pizzas from the more casual but equally delicious Grimaldi’s Pizzeria located nearby.
