Unveiling of the W Hollywood Hotel & Residences
On Friday January 29, 2010, W Hollywood Hotel & Residences opened to the world at Hollywood & Vine as the visionaries from Gatehouse Capital and HEI Hotels & Resorts (W Hollywood’s Development Partnership) gathered with city leaders, project collaborators, and LA taste-makers to celebrate the completion of this iconic Hollywood property and christen the beginning of a second Golden Age at Hollywood & Vine. Special guests and performers included: Late Night host Jimmy Kimmel as Master of Ceremonies; Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Robin Thicke performing; Gatehouse Capital President & CEO Marty Collins; HEI Hotels & Resorts Chief Investment Officer Clark Hanrattie; W Hollywood General Manager Jim McPartlin; Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa; and Los Angeles City Council President Eric Garcetti.
