Dar She Blows! Blowout Salon Opens in Brentwood
Perfecting the art of the blow dry, Drybar, L.A.’s first blow dry bar, is open for business in the Brentwood Gardens Plaza on the corner of San Vicente and Barrington. It’s enough to make you cheat on your hairdresser.
Offering five different types of convenient blowouts, it’s all about the blow dryer with no scissors or color in sight. For $35, no matter how long your hair is, choose from the Straight Up (straight), Mai Tai (messy and beachy), Southern Comfort (lots of volume), Cosmopolitan (loose curls) or Manhattan (smooth) with wash included.
Co-founded by stylist Alli Webb and her brother Michael Landau, a former vice president for brand marketing at Yahoo!, Drybar is a chic, affordable haven for women who want to look and feel good on a budget. Every head a transformation, weekends between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., the salon offers complimentary mimosas and croissants, and Thursdays through Saturdays, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. boasts complimentary cocktails.
Drybar is located at 11677 San Vicente Blvd. in Los Angeles. To book an appointment, visit Drybar or call (310) 442-6084. Memberships available with discounts.
