Victoria Beckham Shops in Milan
Let’s be serious. We can’t expect Victoria Beckham to travel all the way to Milan and not pick up a few goodies. We also can’t expect her to shop amongst the crowds fighting for a pair of shoes. No, no a shopping spree in Milan must be done right, and that is where her dear friends Giorgio Armani, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana came in to save her day and shut down their shops so the style icon could shop in with a little privacy. Take about haute living the fashionista reportedly splurged on 20 pairs of Dolce & Gabbana shoes, 12 pairs of Versace sunglasses and a $648,600 Rolex watch. The full cost of her shopping spree came out to $820,000 in merchandise.
When asked about her shopping Victoria confessed, “I’ve spent too much. Shopping is like a drug. The more you have the more you want. When I’m in Milan I don’t know how to resist it.” And can you really blame her? I mean its Milan for crying out loud. My only question is after the lavish Christmas she and her family had, where does she find the time to wear and enjoy all her trinkets?
Mrs. Beckham doesn’t seem to give it a second thought, as she signs the dotted line she simply says, “Anyway, it helps the economy.”
