The affluent moneymaker has pledged to donate $10 million worth of gifts toward La Jolla’s Burnham Institute for Medical Research. Sanford, who previously donated $50 million for life science research, credited philanthropist Malin Burnham on convincing him to make his recent gesture. It’s nice to know that there are still wealthy people in this world willing to help out a good cause.
