Room Forty, A Restaurant Without Walls

News | January 13, 2010

Where can you find a restaurant with the feel of a lingering dinner party? At Room Forty, a ‘restaurant without walls’, that hosts winemaker dinners in alternative venues and also offers private catering.

Inspired by attention to detail, pursuit of excellence, and immaculate presentations of the Michelin starred restaurants of France, Room Forty uses the timeless, universal and visceral components of fine food, wine and enlightened hospitality to make every meal a memory.

They work with winemakers to create events in an undisclosed, non-restaurant environment. Each month features one winemaker and several dinners, usually one in Los Angeles and one in Orange County, and tickets run at about $150 a pop.

Their food is best described as refined American Cuisine. As the quality of a meal is only as good as its ingredients, chefs use the finest regional, seasonal and organic products available.
