Michelle Obama Is Lookin’ Good In Wax

News | January 26, 2010

Madame Tussauds’ wax museum in New York has unveiled its version of Michelle Obama in a one-shouldered white gown inspired by Jason Wu’s inaugural ball design. She is joined by a replica of her husband, President Barack Obama, who was unveiled at the museum last year.

In about two weeks, the Obama wax figures will undergo a costume change into more casual wear. The museum says Mrs. Obama will sport a mint green J. Crew skirt and cream cardigan. President Obama will wear a business suit. Naturally.

The museum’s Washington, D.C. and London sites also feature the first couple. But New York is the only location to show them in the inaugural attire.
