South Carolina Governor Gets Dumped

It seems like marital problems are becoming a trend these days, what with the Tiger Woods scandal and now we got wind that South Carolina’s governor Mark Sanford wants to patch things up with his wife, Jenny, after embarrassing her publicly by running off to be with his Argentinian mistress.

“I am now filing for divorce,” she said. “This came after many unsuccessful efforts at reconciliation, yet I am still dedicated to keeping the process that lies ahead peaceful for our family.” Jenny has been living with her kids outside the governor’s mansion since August. “I remain thankful to so many across this state and nation for their words of encouragement and prayers during this difficult time,” she said. “Please know the boys and I are doing well and are blessed with the incredible support of friends and family, and bolstered by our faith and the unfailing love of our God above.”

We can only wonder what Tiger’s future will look like.
