Range Rover Sport Autobiography Edition

When it comes to luxury sport-utility vehicles, Range Rover may have some tough competition these days, but that doesn’t stop them from releases new and innovative new models, such as the Autobiography edition which just released its new version, the Sport Autobiography, at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

Despite high fuel costs, Americans just love their big cars. In fact, the bigger the better is usually what people adhere to. However, Range Rover has always been incredibly clever at making their luxury sport-utility automobiles retain their spacious feel and sleek style without being overly obnoxious.

The new Range Rover Sport Autobiography edition has actually been on sale for a few months in overseas markets; however it just made its grand debut last week at the Los Angeles Auto Show so if you’ve been waiting to get your hands on one, you won’t have to wait any longer.

The Sport edition includes special touches to both the interior and exterior, from the “20” wheels and roof spoiler, to the two-tone leather upholstery and special wood trim.” The Autobiography logo can be found in the wood door inserts and the embossed headrests, while the exterior has been spruced up with body-colored lower door panels, and extended roof spoiler, and those special 20” alloy wheels.

Range Rover will only be releasing 250 examples of the offer, and all examples of this edition will be built in Santorini Black with the 5.0-liter supercharged V8 as standard. The asking price is $88,545, making this sport version approximately $14,000 more expensive than the standard Range Rover Sport, but then again, exclusivity does often come with a heavy price tag. Whether it’s worth it or not is completely up to you; but taking a look at the sleek lines and sporty-feel of the luxury car will probably influence your opinion on that matter to some extent.
