On the Rocks at Ayana Resort & Spa
Need a new way to liven up an evening of cocktails? How about meeting your friends on a seaside cliff in Bali where you can literally have your drink “on the rocks?” The new Rock Bar at the Ayana Resort & Spa is a great place to enjoy a drink with an unbeatable view 46 feet above the waves.
The Ayana Resort & Spa in Bali has 78 free-standing, cliff-top luxury villas set in a traditional Balinese compound. There are private pools surrounded by tropical gardens, and maximum seclusion for every guest. Now the Ayana has added a component that brings adventure into throwing back a cocktail with the new Rock Bar. Guests can only access the bar via an inclinator that climbs the side of a steep seaside cliff, but once you’re there it’s worth it. Designed by Yasuhiro Koichi of Japan’s Design Studio SPIN and towering 46 feet above the water, Rock Bar offers breathtaking 360-degree views from every vantage point.
If cliff-cocktailing isn’t your thing, you can always check out the resorts other bars, the C-Bar, Martini Club, and Damar Terrace. Options, stunning views, cocktails—what doesn’t Bali have?
