CityPlace Mall Demands Parking

News | December 8, 2009

In efforts to revitalize mid-Market, CityPlace is looking to bring some suburban staples to the area. In the works are Toys R Us and Off 5th. The problem comes with the parking or lack of. Retailers wont jump on board until the request is made. To make things a little more difficult, Nonprofit Livable City argues that the area was not intended for large volumes of traffic and they fear CityPlace will take away from the bicyclist culture they were trying to promote.

Looks like there is still much to debate. Developers are optimistic about the plans and expect things to work out.
