Captive Watch for Women by Cartier
Cartier’s Captive watch for women may not be your typical Cartier timepiece, but it’s certainly an attention-grabber. The watch consists of 18 carat white gold and has been rhodium plated with a bezel set displaying diamonds that continue on to the dial as the hour markers.
At first glance, Cartier’s Captive watch may not look like your average Cartier watch, but the watch’s details are unmistakably reminiscent of the exclusive brand’s making. Cartier has designed the Captive timepiece with a slightly larger case than they usually work with, with the Captive case measuring 35mm wide. The bezel is beautifully set with diamonds that continue on to the dial to function as hour markers.
The face of the 18 carat white gold watch is somewhat small with the dial creating the illusion that you’re perhaps looking a piece of art, instead of a watch. The watch is fixed to your wrist with a canvas gray strap and matching white gold strap. The watch functions on a Swiss quartz movement and features an elegantly curved design that includes a sapphire crystal.
