P. Diddy. Sean Combs. Diddy. Whatever you want to call him, he sure knows how to throw one heck of a birthday party. On November 19, Diddy held a celebrity-filled birthday bash at the Plaza Hotel to celebrate turning 40.

WHO:  Sean “Diddy” Combs.

WHAT: A black tie birthday bash was held to celebrate one of the music industries greatest icons and entrepreneurs turning 40 years old in the Plaza’s main ballroom. Hundreds of New York’s most elite individuals gathered under a makeshift tent in front of the glamorous hotel waiting to get inside and party P.Diddy style. Combs hired event planner Bronson Von Wyck to make sure things went according to plan, and Van Wych created an incredible “fantasy dreamland” with fashion installations, a labyrinth, performance art, and even a display by artist Bentley Meeker .
