News | January 26, 2012

In celebration of the romance floating in the air during the month of February, RAYA Chef Marissa Gerlach and renown guest chef Richard Sandoval are hosting an Aphrodisiac Culinary Class Saturday, February 11.

The exhibition-designed class is $109 per person and will be presented from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Following the demonstration, guests will get to dine on the five-course menu paired with cocktails. The menu highlights aphrodisiacs including pomegranates, salmon, oysters, avocados and, of course, chocolate.

The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel debuted as the first extravagant and luxurious resort along coastal Orange County in 1984. Twenty-eight years later, the resort is a tropical retreat that stimulates guests’ senses with its extraordinary oceanfront setting and notable service heritage. The resort is the premiere destination for travellers who wish for a playful approach to Southern California luxury. The resort has earned the elite AAA Five Diamond status for 27 years.
