Nobu Palo Alto Launches Luxe Wine Country Experience

Guests staying at the Nobu Hotel Epiphany Palo Alto no longer need to worry about how they will explore the Napa Valley. The hotel has just debuted a posh new service that allows Nobu fans to experience the best of both Bays—the South and North. Dubbed “Napa the Nobu Way,” the exclusive package was curated by famed chef Matsuhisa Nobu to highlight his favorite places in wine country. Napa the Nobu Way is also the hotel’s response to last fall’s wildfires—the team hopes to stimulate tourism for the region.

Since a quick day trip to Napa is virtually impossible from Silicon Valley, those who partake in the adventure will be whisked from the hotel to the Palo Alto Airport where a private helicopter awaits. The chopper is stocked with everything one could need for a day well spent in Napa including snacks, water, and sunscreen. A short, but stunning flight across San Francisco follows. Upon arrival in Napa, a luxury car service will transport guests to Domaine Carneros.

At the winery, guests will be treated to a private, behind-the-scenes tour of the French-style chateaux and winemaking facility. Next, they’ll enjoy Nobu’s preferred tasting: the ultimate chips and dip service. Sip three of the estate’s best sparklers while eating Tsar Nicoulai Caviar, gourmet potato chips, and creme fraiche.

Next on the agenda? A stop at Adler Deutsch Vineyard for a private home tour and viewing of owners Robert Adler and Alexis Deutsch’s extensive art collection. Indulge in a vertical tasting (plus cheese and charcuterie) led by Adler himself. With new wine discoveries in hand, guests return to the helicopter for a ride back to Palo Alto. That night, the culinary journey concludes with a premium chef’s omakase tasting menu with beverage pairings at Nobu’s signature restaurant.
