Haute Living Celebrates Tracy Wilson Mourning’s Birthday With What Goes Around Comes Around

Haute Living celebrated the birthday of Miami philanthropist Tracy Wilson Mourning with a wonderful, intimate luncheon with fashion retailer, What Goes Around Comes Around. The special celebration took place at the Miami Beach EDITION‘s stunning Matador Room Garden Terrace, where Mourning’s closest friends and family came to partake in the fun afternoon.

On display was a jaw-dropping selection of bespoke vintage handbags ranging from colorful Chanel purses to crocodile Hermès Birkin bags—all one-of-a-kind and carefully curated by the famed fashion retailer. A gorgeous display of classic Chanel jewelery was also mixed into the spread.

What Goes Around Comes around was co-founded by NY-based Seth Weisser and Gerard Maione, serving as a leading purveyor in the luxury vintage market since the company’s inception in 1993. Guests enjoyed delicious specialty cocktails crafted with Avión Tequila as they chatted and took photographs with the birthday girl. Following this, they sat for a gourmet meal that included the Jean-Georges restaurant’s favorite specialities, such as the Sweet Pea Guacamole, Raw Shaved Florida Red Snapper, Grilled Maitake Mushrooms with Goat Cheese, Truffle Pizza and a roasted Cuban sandwich.

Co-founder Seth Weisser made a special speech thanking everyone for coming out to learn more about the brand and also celebrate Tracy’s birthday with them. Pieces from the Miami store were on display throughout the day, and a portion of sales made were donated to Tracy’s personal charity, the Honey Shine Foundation—which raises funds to help provide mentoring to underprivileged, young girls.

Following the heartfelt speech, Tracy also made her own speech thanking everyone for joining her and also inspiring the women in the rooms to to stay true to themselves, uplifting the table with the words and motivation that have made her own foundation such a success for females all over the area.

The highlight of the afternoon was when a grand birthday cake was presented—aptly and impressively in the shape of a colorful Birkin bag in honor of the occasion. She blew out the candles to a room full of applause, and the beautiful day ended with plenty of laughs, photos and hugs from the friends and family in the room.
