Koio Launches New Collaboration Sneaker With The Flower Shop

In keeping with the latest trend of restaurants getting involved into the merch game, Koio, the renowned leather sneaker brand, has launched a new collaboration sneaker with one of the best bars in the Lower East Side, The Flower Shop.

“We wanted to collaborate with the Flower Shop because the restaurant combines so many elements that feel very relevant to us. The guys behind it have deep ties to the New York crowd and could easily have made the place an impossible-to-get-into, sceney restaurant. But instead the restaurant’s stated mission is to be low key and accessible,” says Johannes Quodt, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Koio. “In that way, The Flower Shop is very similar to Koio – offering a high-end experience in a relaxed and accessible way. You can tell that The Flower Shop team has amazing taste that is reflected in every little detail of the restaurant. Needless to say, details are what Koio is all about, too.”

The design is an homage to the laid back style of New York’s downtown neighborhood, and the team that built the bar perfect for a laid back, casual drink. The all black shoe will be sold exclusively at The Flower Shop for $298, and features the bar’s logo on the side of each shoe facing out, and “107”, the bar’s street address along Eldridge Street, embroidered on the back of the shoe.
