It comes as no surprise that Drybar will debut at The Cosmopolitan for its second Las Vegas location. After all, the best of the best tend to run in the same circles.
Las Vegas, if you’re not familiar, the concept of Drybar came to founder and longtime professional stylist Alli Webb. After working under the late John Sahag in NYC, she began a side business called Straight-at-Home in 2008. It provided in-home blowouts on a referral basis in Los Angeles, eventually deciding to expand.
The brand later expanded to products now carried in their own shops, as well as Sephora, Nordstrom, Ulta and Bloomingdale’s. It has been named one of the top “100 Brilliant Ideas of 2010” by Entrepreneur Magazine and New York Magazine’s “Boom Brands of 2013“.
“The Cosmopolitan is one of my absolute favorite properties on the Las Vegas Strip. The energy and excitement there is second to none and I know our clients visiting from around the country will be super thrilled to see Drybar there,” said Webb.
The second location will have its grand opening on December 29 at its newest location at The Cosmopolitan’s retail district. It will be a 2,231–square-foot salon consisting of 14 styling chairs with a full-service bar and other signature features.
