Haute Top 5: The Most Instagrammable Cocktails in Boston

Try an cool adult bevvie like the Strawberry Old Fashioned from the haute cocktail menu at OAK Long Bar + Kitchen this summer. Located inside the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel, this trendy spot has always been known for its resident canine guest, Catie Copley. Unfortunately, Catie passed away in May, but her memory lives on in the haute cocktail at OAK Long Bar. One of the hautest cocktails (shown here) is their signature Catie's Cooler made with Crop Cucumber vodka, basil, lemon and soda. Even better, $1 from each drink sale will be donated to the Animal Rescue League of Boston in her memory.

Ever wonder what it must be like to enjoy a cocktail or two at America's oldest tavern? Well, now you can if you head over to the Bell in Hand. Located just steps from Faneuil Hall, this is the longest continually pouring pub not only in Boston, but the entire United States. More specifically, they have been pouring pints and mixing up cocktails since 1795. We come for the cocktail specialties like the seasonal Pineapple Mint Mojito (shown here) or the Paul Revere Punch made with Loco Nut Rum, pineapple, cranberry juice topped with Captain Morgan Spiced Rum garnished with a slice of orange and cherry.

Quite possibly Boston's most expensive cocktail ringing in at nearly $200, the Bottle Rocket at GEM Italian Kitchen Nightclub and Lounge located in Downtown Crossing is also one of the most talked about. Our own version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory starts and ends in Back Bay with Max Brenner. At first glance, you might pass by this chocolate lover's oasis thinking it's just another chocolate shop, but a step inside reveals an entirely different world, and one that Willy Wonka would have certainly approved of. One of their most beloved drinks is the classic chocolate martini, shaken not stirred, made with milk and white chocolate, vanilla and crème de cacao garnished with a chocolate-dipped strawberry.
