Photo Credit: Aaron GarciaDeejay Tiësto kicked off his birthday celebration on Saturday night with an honorary ceremony, where was presented with the key to the Las Vegas Strip.

Tiësto arrived at the MGM Grand valet shortly before 6 p.m. in an Aston Martin, and then he was met by the UNLV marching band, who performed his song “Red Lights” as he made his entrance into the lobby.

County Commissioner Steve Sisolak spoke to the crowd about Tiësto’s achievements and dedication to the Las Vegas Strip throughout his residency.

Afterward, UNLV’s band performed his new single “On My Way,” Tiësto’s first official single of 2017. The song serves as an anthem for anyone ready to seize the opportunity presented by a new year and celebrates the individuals that stay true to themselves in pursuit of their ambitions.

Tiësto has a residency at Hakkasan at the resort.

Photo Credit: Tony TranAlso on Saturday, hip hop artist French Montana performed at Marquee Nightclub at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.. The “All the Way Up” artist wowed the crowd as he took the stage to perform his top hits. The crowd sang and danced along to each song. Montana took in the rest of the night from his VIP table as DJ Mike Attack manned the decks.

In the crowd was social media star Dove Cameron, who celebrated her 21st birthday at the nightclub with friends.
