Peep Orange County’s New Hot Spot: The Bungalow Huntington Beach
If you’re an Orange County resident who has been waiting with bated breath for the O.C. version of Brent Bolthouse‘s Santa Monica hot spot, The Bungalow, to hit your hood, you’re in luck: The Bungalow Huntington Beach will finally open its doors to much fanfare this Friday.
Those familiar with The Bungalow brand know that its name is deceptive. It’s certainly a low-key yet completely upscale place by the sea to enjoy craft cocktails and seasonal bites set with a beautiful backdrop that includes ocean views, lush gardens, sweeping decks and rustic interior designs, all of which radiate the relaxed charm of another era. That said, it’s also a hot spot with lines that often creep around the block at its premiere location; its Pacific City counterpart—as designed by Bolthouse and Studio Collective—will certainly enjoy a similar popularity.
Here, guests can expect an intimate lounge, private dining room, main bar space, al fresco patio, expansive views and rustic and vintage elements used in totally original ways With the hottest DJs, coolest people-watching, delicious food and signature cocktails, this will soon become “the place to be” in Orange County.
Proof that this opening is a big deal lies in the attention Bolthouse is paying to its opening celebrations. First off, there will be big name talent performing at the festivities—Brandon Boyd and Mike Einziger from Grammy-nominated band Incubus will perform a special acoustic set during a private grand opening party tonight, with all proceeds from the evening benefitting the local Huntington Beach chapter of the Surfrider Foundation. During the opening weekend, The Bungalow Huntington Beach will also showcase its selection of signature cocktails paired with bites off the new menu from the venue’s exclusive culinary partner; Bear Flag Fish Co.
Bolthouse stated, “We are so grateful to be bringing The Bungalow to Huntington Beach this summer and hope that we become part of the fabric of life in Orange County. It has been a long journey but we’ve meticulously curated every detail to make this Bungalow a truly special home.”
Doors will open to the public at 5:00pm on Friday July 8th. The Bungalow Huntington Beach is located at the south end of the Pacific City complex at 21058 Pacific Coast Highway and will be open seven days a week during the following hours: Monday-Friday from 5:00pm – 2:00am, Saturday from 12:00pm – 2:00am, and Sunday from 12:00pm – 10:00pm.
