The campaign, which is for the new Modern Essentials selected by David Beckham for the fall 2015 collection, showcase Hart playing a method actor preparing to take on the role of Beckham.
“Kevin Hart is one of the funniest, smartest guys around. I love to do the unexpected for my H&M campaigns. I hope everyone enjoys watching it as much as I did making it,” Beckham said.
Like the soccer star, Hart expressed how much fun he had shooting the campaign. The comedian said, “To be able to make fun of a global icon like David Beckham is a comedian’s dream. I love fashion as much as I love sports, which is why I was so excited to star in David’s new H&M campaign.”
This year, as part of its long-term relationship with Beckham, H&M launched Modern Essentials selected by David Beckham. It’s his pick of the wardrobe essentials a man needs each season. The new fall 2015 collection is available in store at the beginning of October.
The video has already hit the Internet Sept. 28th on H&M’s site. It is slated to hit the cinemas and TV on Wednesday, Sept. 30th, alongside a print and billboard campaign.
Most recently, Beckham debuted an over-the-top sleek single-grained scotch whiskey brand, HAIG CLUB, in Miami. Alongside his partner British entrepreneur Simon Fuller, Beckham will embark on a worldwide HAIG tour.
The Miami event’s guest list was filled with famous faces including Alonzo Mourning & wife Tracy Mourning, Chris Bosh & wife Adrienne Bosh, Ryan Tannehill & wife Lauren Tannehill, Chadwick Boseman, Scottie Pippen & wife Larsa Pippen, Chadwick Boseman, Dascha Polanco, Alex Gonzalez, Dule Hill, Carlos Ponce, Erin Sharoni, Jazmyn Simon, Kate Walsh, Tracy Phillips, and of course the hosts David Beckham and Simon Fuller.
