Haute 100 listers Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Pitbull and more A-list celebrities collaborated to create a song and music video to celebrate Hispanic Heritage.

The song and video, “We’re All Mexicans,” was completed in two weeks and is being released on Monday, Sept. 28th. The A-list line up includes the Haute 100 listers named above as well as Thalia, Wyclef Jean, Taboo (from Black Eyed Peas), Carlos Santana, and Carlos Vives. The video will also feature other celebrities like Kathy Griffin, Whoopi Goldberg, Eva Longoria, Carlos Ponce, Perez Hilton, and Guillermo Rodriguez.

Amid the debate of immigration in the U.S., the song was created to stand in unity with the Mexican-American community. It highlights the accomplishments of Mexican-Americans and other Latinos in different industries in the U.S.

In an interview with NBC, Emilio said, “I saw a lot of negativity about Hispanics. It’s not about Donald Trump. It’s about the celebration of Hispanic Heritage and how lucky we are to be in America.”

The Grammy Award-wining producer believes “when Mexicans get attacked, we all get attacked.”

While it wasn’t easy rounding up the A-list talent, Emilio said many of his friends where emotionally overwhelmed when they saw the finished product.

“We sent the message of ‘Thank you’ to America and that we are proud to be in this country, we don’t take things for granted,” Emilio said. “We are different, the Mexicans, the Puerto Ricans, the Colombians, the Cubans. At the same time, we are all family.”

Both Pitbull and the Estefans have had a very successful year. Pitbull will have a Las Vegas residency at The Axis at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino called the “Time of Our Lives.”  The seven-date residency starts today Wedensday, Sept. 23rd and will have shows on the 25, 26 and 30 as well as Oct. 2, 3 and 7. He is also slated to go on tour next year. Gloria will be the only Latina performing for Pope Francis’ at Madison Square Garden. In addition, the Estefans play On Your Feet! has received rave reviews. The couple is slated to receive The Buoniconti Fund Inspiration Award at the 30th Annual Great Sports Legends Dinner.
